Transition Evening
Every Year we have a Special Transition Evening for the pupils from Year 8 going into Year 9 (Upper School). This is a celebration of the transition from a child into young adults.
This Year was an extra special occasion as all the pupils did a presentation or performance on a topic that they were interested in e.g. singing, instrumental, football, environmental.
This made the evening extra enjoyable not just for the parents and teachers but for the pupils too as it allowed us to express some of our hidden talents.
Some of the teachers from Upper School welcomed the new class of Year 9 and spoke about some of the things happening in Upper School.
The evening ended with some delicious deserts and drinks and a look at some autobiographies that we had written about ourselves, based on our lives so far.
It was a truly memorable evening although slightly sad as we say farewell to Middle School.
