KS3 English Teacher
September 2022
We are looking for a qualified or experienced teacher to work as a KS3 English teacher.
Hours of paid work
Up to 1.5 days per week, depending on availability within the timetable structure. Job share would be considered.
Pay scale
We see working at CFS as part of our Christian calling to serve the Church through education and the payment structure for this role reflects this vision.
More about the role
In addition to English, you would teach our Bible curriculum to Y8. This post would involve working in both Middle School (Y7 and Y8) and Upper School (Y9) where you will enjoy the support and encouragement of each school’s team of teachers and support staff. Pupils are keen to learn and have a good work ethic. The school has a strong family feel and parents are engaged and supportive.
A key benefit of working at CFS is the opportunity it affords committed professionals to put their knowledge, skills, experience and enthusiasm to work in fulfilment of a Christian vocation to education. We can guarantee plenty of challenges but also the reward of being part of a caring, faith-filled team committed to supporting one another.
Additionally, the applicant must be a practising Christian (occupational requirement under Part 1 of schedule 9 to the Equality Act 2010).
Application
To receive an application pack, interested applicants should email: ks@cfschool.org.uk
The pack will include an application form, and upon submission, we will take up three references.
The Governors and Staff of Christian Fellowship School take seriously the responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of all the children and young people entrusted to our care and it is our expectation that all staff and volunteers will share this commitment. Completion of an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check is a requirement for anyone working at the school.
