KS3/4 PE Teacher
We are looking for a qualified or experienced teacher to join our Upper School PE team, teaching GCSE PE Short Course.
Hours of paid work
This post would be for half a day on a Friday. We would be interested to hear from teachers who might want to combine this role with one of the other current vacancies advertised on the website to form a larger post.
We see working at CFS as part of our Christian calling to serve the Church through education and the payment structure for this role reflects this vision.
More about the role
You would teach PE Theory to year 9 and year 10 pupils and teach practical lessons in a range of sports, including hockey, football, athletics and tennis. All Upper School pupils take PE as a core subject, as we want every pupil to know how to keep physically fit and to develop a love of sport. Pupils are keen to learn and have a good work ethic. The school has a strong family feel and parents are engaged and supportive.
A key benefit of working at CFS is the opportunity it affords committed professionals to put their knowledge, skills, experience and enthusiasm to work in fulfilment of a Christian vocation to education. We can guarantee plenty of challenges but also the reward of being part of a caring, faith-filled team committed to supporting one another.
Additionally, the applicant must be a practising Christian (occupational requirement under Part 1 of schedule 9 to the Equality Act 2010).
To receive an application pack, interested applicants should email: email@example.com
The pack will include an application form, and upon submission, we will take up three references.
The Governors and Staff of Christian Fellowship School take seriously the responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of all the children and young people entrusted to our care and it is our expectation that all staff and volunteers will share this commitment. Completion of an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check is a requirement for anyone working at the school.
