Year 6 Class Teacher
We are looking for a qualified or experienced teacher to work as a class teacher in year Y6.
Hours of paid work
Two days per week.
We see working at CFS as part of our Christian calling to serve the Church through education and the payment structure for this role reflects this vision.
More about the role
You would share the class teacher responsibilities with another teacher, delivering a range of curriculum subjects which could include English, Maths, Science, Humanities, Bible, PHSME, Art and D & T. You would join the Middle School team where you will enjoy the professional support and encouragement of other teachers and support staff. Pupils are keen to learn and have a good work ethic. The school has a strong family feel and parents are engaged and supportive.
A key benefit of working at CFS is the opportunity it affords committed professionals to put their knowledge, skills, experience and enthusiasm to work in fulfilment of a Christian vocation to education. We can guarantee plenty of challenges but also the reward of being part of a caring, faith-filled team committed to supporting one another.
Additionally, the applicant must be a practising Christian (occupational requirement under Part 1 of schedule 9 to the Equality Act 2010).
To receive an application pack, interested applicants should email: firstname.lastname@example.org
The pack will include an application form, and upon submission, we will take up three references.
The Governors and Staff of Christian Fellowship School take seriously the responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of all the children and young people entrusted to our care and it is our expectation that all staff and volunteers will share this commitment. Completion of an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check is a requirement for anyone working at the school.
