Digital Platforms
Our Use of Online Platforms and Portals
As part of delivering a rich, modern curriculum, our school makes use of several trusted online platforms. These services help us to provide high-quality teaching, track progress, and prepare pupils for life in a digital world.
We only share the minimum information necessary for each platform to function, and we regularly review our providers to ensure they comply with UK data protection law (GDPR) and safeguarding requirements. All platforms are used under the school’s public duty to provide education; they are not used for marketing purposes.
Platforms we currently use
Google Workspace for Education – secure email, cloud storage, document creation, and classroom collaboration tools.

Unifrog – careers and higher-education guidance platform for older pupils, supporting decision-making about future pathways.
Scratch – creative coding platform used to introduce pupils to programming concepts.
MagicSchool – AI-powered teaching and learning tools, used under staff guidance for resource creation and support.

How we keep pupils safe online
Each platform is assessed before use through a Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA).
Staff and pupils are trained in safe and responsible use.
Personal or sensitive information is never shared with AI tools or external services unless the school has confirmed compliance with GDPR.
Parents may request further details about the data each platform processes.
An evolving list
The platforms we use may change over time as technology develops and the curriculum evolves. We review this list regularly so that the most up-to-date version is available on our website.
