Mrs. Bamber, our Head of SEND, came to visit Lower School this week to lead our assembly. The title of her talk was 'Differently Abled' and she told us all about some of the different challenges people can have, such as hearing and sight. She asked the children to think about how God tells us to love one another as He loves us (John 13:34) and ways in which they could help their friends. Her theme was 'how we are wonderfully and fearfully made by God,' each with different giftings and talents. She told us a Bible story illustrating our different gifts and talents, and the children had great fun doing an action every time she said the word 'wonderfully.' We finished with prayer and a song with lots of fun actions to affirm how we are all precious to God!
