China
July 2021
Mr and Mrs Lok came to talk to Y3 today about China as part of our geography topic. They taught us how to use chop sticks and we learned all about schools in China and about the Christians who live there.
China
June 2021
Today Y3 had a visit from Miss Cheung who showed some photos of her nephew, who used to be in the class. He now lives in China . The children are doing a topic on China at the moment and they were able to ask lots of questions about the country and find out about their friend's new lifestyle.
Rainforest Art
June 2021
Some of the Year 3 children were using oil pastels to work on the emergent layer of the rainforest. The rest were using collage to show the plants on the forest floor.
Roman Soldier Visit
June 2021
Today, a Roman Soldier visited Year 3 as part of their Roman topic, he showed the children what he wore as a soldier and answered all of their questions about what it was like to be part of the Roman Army
Archaeological dig
Year 3 enjoyed taking part in an archaeological dig as part of their history topic, we found lots of interesting artefacts.
Romans Projects
May 2021
Year 3 have been finding out all about the Romans. Each child has created a fantastic home project. We have also been finding out about what each piece of the armour of God represents.
Welfare Week
March 2021
During Welfare week, Year 3 enjoyed the story, 'The Secret Sky Garden' by Linda Sarah and Fiona Lumbers. The character in the story feels happy when she flies a kite in the garden she's created. Year 3 chose their own 'happy colours' for their kites and then wrote down what makes them feel good on the bows.
